I was raised in the small town of Champion Alberta, and started my Bachelors of Science at the University of Lethbridge in 2004. I graduated in 2008 with distinction, and have been working in the molecular spectroscopy group since 2005. In 2008 I enrolled as a Masters student focusing on the development of tunable diode laser spectrometer under the supervision of Dr. Predoi-Cross. Near the end of my Masters program I transferred into a Ph.D. Program to continue to further my understanding of spectroscopy. The bulk of my work has been in the development spectroscopic measurement systems and understanding molecular dynamics particularly for C2H2. I am currently a member of the University’s AMYTHEST program and will be completing my Ph.D. very soon.
