This class is being offered for the first time in the Fall of 2015. In this class, we will examine the impact of digital technology on politics, with a particular focus on political communication. Students will be completing primary research projects in this class.
This course covers the behavioural approach to the study of politics and we will look at political culture, public opinion, political participation, voting behaviour, and elite political activity. Given that this course will be offered at the same time as an anticipated federal election, there will be a strong emphasis on mass and elite electoral behaviour in this offering.
