Kelsey first task was reconstructing hippocampal neurons in Richardson's ground squirrels. She then completed two NSERC USRAs and her Honours thesis on the effects of domestication on the cerebellum by comparing chickens and junglefowl and is officially our resident stereology expert. She will continue to pursue the study of domestication effects on the brain in chickens and junglefowl as well as testing for differences in olfactory bulb anatomy across pigeon breeds.
