Yes, I went to Washington DC, but primarily to attend the J.B. Johnston Club meeting where I delivered my first talk there in 7 years. Most of the time was spent eating excellent food with Drs. Wylie, Yopak and Lomber as well as some important meetings with Dr. Smaers and Dr. Carr to discuss collaborative projects on brain evolution and bowerbirds.
